The Mustard Seed of Central Florida will hold its premier fundraiser, Chairs 4 Charity on May 16, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 304 West Colonial Drive in downtown Orlando. The event will offer gourmet food stations, free wine and beer, games, fabulous raffles and more, in addition to the auction of “One-of-a-Kind Chairs” created by local artists and celebrities. We are looking for artists to create a “One-of-a-Kind Chair” art piece to be auctioned off during the event. The Mustard Seed will provide the chair, as well as a ticket to the event for the artist and one guest a $150.00 value. The artist will also be provided a space to display at least two other original pieces of art during the event.

The mission of The Mustard Seed is to help to rebuild the lives of families and individuals who have suffered disaster or personal tragedy by providing household furnishings and clothing. The Mustard Seed collects donations of furniture, appliances, household items, toys, anything and everything needed to create a home and grants the donated items free of charge to economically qualifying families and individuals.
